Hope for the Journey Conference

CPA has partnered with Show Hope adoption ministry to host the 2023 Hope for the Journey conference – a two-day educational summit on the teachings of Texas Christian University's Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development and their extensive research on Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) for trauma-informed parenting, teaching, and ministry.

The Hope for the Journey conference will be hosted at Christ Presbyterian Academy:

  • What: Conference Simulcast (video stream)
  • When: Wednesday, April 19 - Thursday, April 20 from 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. both days
  • Where: Choir amphitheater in the Church (CPC) building
  • Admission is free and open to the public
  • Lunch will be provided

CPA's investment in trauma-informed education and ministry is part of a broader goal to serve the families of Nashville, bolstering the social-emotional health of our community. The Academy's Parenting with Purpose series uses the same TBRI methodology to empower parents as they connect to their children throughout seasons of challenge and triumph.
