Darryl Strawberry speaks at CPA on September 20

Darryl Strawberry will speak at CPA on Thursday, September 20, at 7 p.m., as part of the Academy's Perspectives series. The event will take place in the Sanctuary (Church building), and tickets are free and open to the public. Click here to reserve your seat. The event is hosted by New Hope Academy
Major League Baseball All-Star Darryl Strawberry is a living legend in the game. His performance in the batter box and his prodigious home runs led the New York Mets to a World Series championship in 1986 and the New York Yankees to three World Series championships in 1996, 1998, and 1999.

Though Darryl was extremely successful in his career, his personal life was plagued with addictions, abuse, divorces, cancer, and jail time. Eventually finding true redemption and restoration in Jesus Christ, his testimony speaks to hope and helping others transform their lives through the power of the gospel. Darryl and his wife Tracy now run the ministry Finding Your Way, restoring lives and relationships through the power of God and the process of change by leading the lost to Jesus Christ, discipling people into lasting change, and mobilizing the Church to impact their communities.
