A longstanding tradition at CPA Lower School, Grandparents Day is an opportunity for CPA grandparents to visit with their lower school student(s), learn about school experiences, meet teachers, see the classrooms, and enjoy time on campus.
The Academy hosted hundreds of parents and grandparents at this annual event, recognizing the importance of joining generations in the school community. In addition to classroom tours and a special student art exhibit, the fifth grade band performed a concert for fifth grade parents and guests to conclude their first year in instrumental music study.
Guests and students then convened in the Sanctuary for a program themed Let Your Light Shine. The program featured classic songs, hymns, student speakers, and a special dance students' shared with grandparents at the end.
