    CPA upper school media arts students were awarded nine state-level awards by the Tennessee High School Press Association including Best Overall News Studio/Station, Best Audio Project, and Best Audio for Video Project.

    Addi Gerlach was awarded six individaul awards (including two Gold Keys) for her work at the 2018 Middle TN Scholastic Art Competition.

    Musical Oklahoma nominated to the top 10  shows in the state, performed on the TPAC stage. Eight students chosen as finalists for individual awards. Madeleine Hall won Standout Female Dancer. Lorelei McDaniels won Standout Supporting Actress award.

    The CPA US Concert Choir received the rating Superior in Performance and Excellent in Sight Reading at MTVA adjudication at the regional level.

    Vision US Vocal Group received Superior ratings in MTVA Performance and Sight Reading at the regional level.
  • CPA Band

    The CPA middle school and upper school bands received Superior ratings in sightreading and Good ratings in Concert in MTSBOA Adjudication at the regional level.
     
  • Student Journalism

    The student journalism program was awarded 20 state-level awards by the Tennessee High School Press Association, including Best Overall Yearbook in the State and Second Best in Show at Nationals. The yearbook staff also collected several national accolades, including a Gold and Silver Crown from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association and two Pacemakers from NSPA.

    Track Senior Ryan Charles wins State Championship in High Jump and Decathlon (CPA’s fourth consecutive title and Charles’ second consecutive title). Freshman Nathan Irwin wins tennis State Champions in Singles. Golf junior A. Jacks Green wins State Championship with a 36-hole score of 133.
