Middle school athletes conclude a great fall season

It was a successful fall season for middle school athletics. See the roundup below to follow each team. 

Boys Tennis
-- The team finished second in the HVAC AA Division. They swept the singles bracket with Leo Menzie placing first, Gavin McEvoy placing second, and Nicholas Roth placing third.
Girls Tennis – The team won their first HVAC Championship! Ella Sallee won first place in singles, and Kylie Roth took third place. Brianne Cummings and Sadie Jackson won second place in doubles. 
Boys Cross Country – The team won fifth place in the HVAC AA Division. Leo Menzie won fourth place as an individual.
Girls Cross Country – The team won second place in the HVAC AA Division. Individual runners placed as well: Anni Routh (fourth), Katelin Flemmons (eighth), and Ella Bobbitt (tenth).
Seventh/Eighth Grade Football – The team had an outstanding regular season capped off with an 8-0 victory over MBA on the last day of the regular season.
Fifth/Sixth Grade Football – Both teams won their HVAC Junior Championship games! Fifth grade defeated BGA 22-0. Sixth grade defeated Brentwood Academy 6-0.
Volleyball – The team enjoyed a solid season with several big wins against Harpeth Hall and Ensworth.
Golf – Boys golf had an outstanding regular season with four individuals qualifying for the HVAC Championship Golf Meet. Sixth grader Luke Williams finished fourth place overall in the championship meet. Eighth grader Ashton Jones also competed in the Championship meet. Players who competed in the championship include Ashton Jones, Sean O'Connell, Chris Burns, and Luke Williams.
MS Mountain Biking -- The team as a whole is currently ranked in fifth place in the state. Race number 3 is in Knoxville this weekend. Abigail Walker holds second place for the sixth grade girls.
