CPA senior tubaist selected to perform at Carnegie Hall

CPA Arts is proud to announce senior Nathan Gauchat has been accepted into the 2017 High School Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall in New York City, under the direction of renowned conductor Dr. Kenneth Ozzello from The University of Alabama. Nathan’s acceptance to this elite group of international high school performers is a direct result of his talent, dedication, and achievement demonstrated in the application process.
The international series challenges elite students to perform at their very best. Students rehearse and perform under master conductors, and have the opportunity to perform before representatives from collegiate and professional music programs. Though much of their time is focused on performance preparation, the week also allows students to experience the best of the sights and the performing arts in New York City.
Nathan will receive updates, repertoire information, sheet music, and practice notes this spring. He will perform tuba with the Honors Band from February 2-6.
