High school inducts 67 new National Honor Society members

CPA high school welcomed 67 new members into the National Honor Society at Tuesday night's induction ceremony.

The National Honor Society (NHS) was established in 1921 to recognize outstanding high school students. NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
The CPA chapter of NHS is open to juniors and seniors who have a 3.5 cumulative GPA and have completed (or are currently enrolled in) at least one Honors-or-AP-level course. Chapter membership not only recognizes students for their academic accomplishments, but challenges them to further develop through active involvement in school activities and community service.

"The students who were inducted into NHS have displayed a track record of impressive academic achievement, commitment to character, and dedication to service that embodies the values of the organization," says High School Principal Dr. Parker Altman.

The ceremony was led by CPA Chapter Officers Sydney Carr, Adam Casseri, Janie Hubbard, Madison Hutts, and Cooper Reynolds.
