Academy celebrates campaign launch at Songwriters' Night
CPA celebrated the public launch of Transforming Stories | The Campaign for Christ Presbyterian Academy with a Songwriter's Night at City Winery in downtown Nashville.
200 members of the community attended for dinner and a concert from four of Nashville's finest songwrtiers: Tom Douglas, Natalie Hemby, Ashley Gorely, and Luke Laird. The group holds almost 100 #1 hit country singles combined. Introducing songs with stories and commentary on their own journies as artists, the songwriters captivated the room with their soulful sounds.
After a live auction and remarks from Head of School Nate Morrow, attendees viewed plans for the campaign's campus enhancements and additions. These developments include a 550-seat theatre, a new front-entrance, and a central campus quad. The public phase of this campaign will include breaking ground on construction this spring.
