Recently, middle school students received a glimpse into college during CPA Middle School College Week. Each grade participated in an individualized session led by the Upper School College Counseling team designed to expand their knowledge about the college application process.
Esports (electronic sports) is an organized, multiplayer video game competition for Upper School students. Led by Senior Charlie as Captain, the team faces other teams across the Eastern United States, quickly problem-solving and constantly adapting to win.
Jimmy John Liautaud, the founder and former chairman of Jimmy John's sandwich chain, spoke to Business + Entrepreneurship students in the upper school. Liautaud discussed his various entrepreneurial pursuits, failures, successes, and valuable lessons he's learned along the way.
Music, theater, and visual arts students traveled to New York City. This engaging, hands-on learning experience featured various opportunities for students to "engage and influence culture through authentic creativity, artistic excellence, and relationship with Christ" in the dynamic City.

A house is a community unified by purpose, joined in competition to celebrate common values and shared vision. Houses exist within the CPA upper school community to build camaraderie and community within a smaller portion of the student population.
Seamlessly weaving a Christian worldview into a school curriculum is a challenging feat. Much research attests to this challenge; however, when done well, it transforms a "required school subject" into a kaleidoscope of God's majesty, where students learn that knowledge is not separate from God but rather from, through, and for Him.
As students make their journey through lower school at CPA, project-based learning contributes to the final thread in the CPA mission: “...to know God, evaluate all knowledge and all life by His truth, and live transformed by His truth for His glory."
