Parenting with Purpose

In such pressing times, with families facing new challenges and increasing distractions every day, CPA has launched an in-depth program designed with the heart of the child at its core. This series will present new information and timely topics that we hope you find helpful as you continue on your sacred journey called “parenting”.

Parenting with Purpose is a unique series on the journey of parenting through a Christian worldview. With the understanding that we are emotional and spiritual beings created by God, this series seeks to assist parents in raising the next generation of engaged, faith-centered men and women who live fully in a difficult, hard, and sometimes tragic world.

Led by Associate Head of School-Education Dr. Marcia Sutton and CPA administrators trained in TBRI, sessions are free and available to the public.

All sessions are free and open to the public.

How Are You Feeling Today?

God did not make a mistake when He gave us feelings. Feelings are tools to help us live fully in a broken, tragic world. Healthy conversations with our kids about their feelings empower them in their relationships with self, God, and others.

Enter new book How Are You Feeling Today?, based off of The Voice of the Heart by Dr. Chip Dodd.

In partnership with author and counselor Dr. Chip Dodd, the Academy has implemented this new children's book How Are You Feeling Today? into Preschool-12 social-emotional curriculum. Watch the video from the book launch to learn more.
