CPA Student Government Association

The purpose of the Student Government Association is to lead the cultivation and growth of Service, Citizenship, and Spirit in order to improve the culture and climate of CPA by serving the students, faculty, families, and broader Nashville community.

  • Service: The SGA will select, align, organize and lead all school-wide service efforts including our local mission, international mission and any other service opportunities that fit within the scope of SGA.
  • Citizenship: The SGA will work with the school administration to lead the student body in improving CPA’s code of conduct, peer relationships, and the transition for new students. The SGA will also serve as Student Ambassadors for perspective families, at CPA functions, and out in the Nashville community.
  • Communications and Public Relations: The SGA will promote and educate the student body about the details of the events and programs sponsored by SGA.
  • Spirit: The SGA will create, plan, execute and participate in all Spirit days for CPA including dances, pep rallies, tailgating, dress up days and organize the cheering sections for games.
SGA meets during Activity Period on Mondays and occasionally during lunch on Wednesdays.

Middle School Student Leadership Team

The Middle School Student Leadership Team (SLT) is comprised of six representatives per grade, which includes two representatives for every advisory section. The team meets weekly to discuss upcoming service opportunities and ways to engage middle school students in school life. These servant-leaders cultivate leadership and collaboration skills and strive to make the middle school a positive and welcoming environment for all students.
