  • Cheerleading

    Parent Meeting:
    May 6, 2019: Mandatory MS and US Parent/Cheerleading Information Meeting

    Tryout Makeup Dates:
    *Any girl who is unable to attend the above tryout dates due to a commitment made before March 1st will be able to tryout the following days:
     
    May 22, 2019: Stunt and Tumbling Evaluation
    MS and US Time: 3:30pm-5:30pm

    May 24, 2019: Chants, Dance, and Jumps Evaluation

    Results will be emailed to parents on May 31, 2019 at 9:00am.
     
    *If your daughter needs to tryout during the makeup tryout dates, please email me as soon as possible with your daughter's name, grade for next year, and reason for needing to tryout earlier than set tryout date.
     
    US Open Gyms:
    The following dates are set for the US Open gyms leading up to tryouts. These are offered to all rising 9th-12th graders. They are all 5:30pm-7:00pm and located at the Barn. Waivers will be available at the MS and US front desks the week of April 1st. Girls attending open gym MUST bring a completed/signed waiver to the first one they attend to be eligible to participate. Open gyms are not mandatory, but highly recommended for anyone planning on trying out for the US squad.

  • Cross Country

    MS Boys and Girls Cross Country:

    No try-out required.

    Season Specifics:
    The season is from Early August – Late September

    Uniform:
    Please pay $40 if your student does not need a uniform. Your fees include
    - team participation fee
    - team t-shirt
    - end of the season lunch
     
    If your student needs a uniform, please pay $80.  This includes the above items in addition to a CPA cross country/track uniform top and bottom.

  • Football

    CPA Football Interest Meeting 
    All young men interested in football for the 2019 season, there will be a parent/student information session for Rising 5-8 grades on Monday, April 22 from 6-7 p.m. and Rising 9-12 grades from 7:15-8 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Upper School Dinning Hall.

  • Golf

    MS Boys and Girls Golf:
    6th-8th Grade Boys and Girls

    Summer Specifics:
    Interested players will need to turn in 3 scorecards to the MS office by Thursday, August 1st.  Two of the scorecards HAVE to be from the Cheekwood Golf Club in Franklin, beside Battle Ground Academy.  The final scorecard can be from any other course you choose.  These scorecards should be from nine holes of play over the summer.

    Tryout Specifics:
    Players who make the team will be determined by scores.

    Season Specifics:
    Golf season is from Monday, August 19 – Monday, September 23.
    Participation Fee: $75

    Uniform:
     White or Purple Dry Fit CPA uniform shirts with khaki, black, or white shorts.

    Transportation Specifics:
    Golfers are transported to the matches by parents.
    Drivers may pick up players in the FRONT lot by the church on match days.
  • Mountain Biking

    Tennis season is from Monday, August 12 – Saturday, September 28. Practices will be held at Temple Hills Country Club.

    Transportation Specifics
    Players will be transported to and from practice and matches on a CPA bus. Parents are able to pick up their child from practice or matches. 

    Uniform:
    Black Shorts with Pockets
    Players will purchase Purple CPA Tennis Shirt and White CPA Tennis Hat. Returning players will not need to purchase new uniforms. 

    MS Girls' Tennis

  • Pre-Participation Physical Forms
    Required for every 6th-12th grade student, and required for K-5th grade students who participate in lower-school cross county, football, and lower-school track.
  • ImPACT Concussion Testing Instructions
    5th-12th grades ONLY Every rising 5th, 7th, 9th & 11th grader are required to take this test. New students who enroll on an EVEN grade year will also be required to complete the ImPACT Test.

Summer Workout Schedules

  • Upper School Boys

    The boys workouts begin Tuesday, May 28 and run through Friday, July 19. These workouts are not limited to student athletes but are available for all students, as they are not sport-specific. The workouts are designed for strength and conditioning and are strongly encouraged by our coaches during the summer months.

    BOYS
    Grade 10-12:
    Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 7:30-9:30 a.m.
    Grade 9: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, 9-10:30 a.m.

  • Upper School Girls

    Girls’ workouts are broken into two groups. The groups are scheduled by sport but you may speak with Coach Brannan if a time does not fit your sport. The girls’ workouts will begin Wednesday, May 29, and run through Friday, July 19. These workouts are available for all students, as the workouts are not sport-specific. The workouts are designed for strength and conditioning and are strongly encouraged by our coaches during the summer months.

    Group 2: Volleyball, Softball, Cross Country, Track, Tennis, Golf, Cheer
