CPA Upper School recently announced the Class of 2020 Valedictorian and Salutatorian. Valedictorian is Lily Hubbard, and Salutatorian is Alison Korn.
In eighth grade US History class, Mr. Patrick Jordan goes beyond the normal lesson plan and introduces his students to the Medal of Honor Character Development Program.
This year, CPA launched a new transportation program for students and families. Promoting long-time employee, Mark Nester, to Director of Transportation was not only a part of the Academy’s continued commitment to safety and service, but also an action step in the strategic plan initiative for added geographical accessibility to the CPA campus.

CPA is honored to host author and speaker Anthony Ray Hinton at Perspectives: A Community Gathering for the City on September 26, at 7 p.m., in the Sanctuary (Church building).
CPA hosted The Collaborative this week, welcoming educators and administrators from 15 different Tennessee schools.
Third graders are learning about global hunger, communities that suffer from hunger, causes of food shortage, and local and national advocates and solutions. The project-based-learning unit integrates geography and economics as the students discuss food and water scarcity across the globe.
