One year ago, in August 2024, we broke ground on a bold and mission-driven vision: a new Athletics and Wellness Facility. Since launching the Unseen Stories Campaign, we’ve been encouraged by the commitment and generosity of families, alumni, and friends who believe in investing in the unseen moments of transformation that define a CPA education.

What happens on the court is only part of the story. This new facility was envisioned as a place where coaches and teachers could be fully present in the quiet, character-shaping moments of a student's growth, leadership, challenge, and victory. 

Thanks to your support, construction is now well underway. The foundation is set, bricks are being laid, and the vision is becoming tangible. The Athletics and Wellness Facility is set to open in February 2026, and when it does, generations of CPA students will benefit from new spaces to discover their unique, God-given design and divine purpose.

This facility will include:

• A new gymnasium with increased capacity
   
• Equitable locker room space for male and female athletes
   
• A new 5,500 sq. ft. weight room and strength training space
   
• A new home for athletic operations, including the Roar Store, concessions, and more
   
• Space for community events, youth leagues, conferences, etc.

With a campaign goal of $25 million, we are grateful to be nearing the finish line, but we’re not there yet.

The completion of this project will mark the beginning of a new investment towards our students—a new investment in the Academy, grounded in our mission that began in 1985. As we approach the final stretch, we invite every CPA family to be part of this story.
