This year, the Lion's Roar yearbook, entitled "We’ve seen it, we’ve heard it, we even know it, but there’s more to it,” was named one of the best student publications internationally by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association's Crown Awards. CPA's Lion's Roar yearbook received the prestigious Silver Crown award, with a staff comprised of 53 students from grades 9-12.

The international Crown Awards are the highest recognition given by the CSPA to a student print medium for overall excellence, judged in design, photography, concept, coverage, and writing. This is the fifth CPA has received.
