Film Night: a media arts exhibition

The CPA Upper School Media Arts program has seen a year filled with incredible projects, digital shorts, documentaries, special features, on-location shoots, promos, music videos, and more! 

Film Night is an awards-show-styled exhibition honoring the work of these creative students. The program is the most decorated high school media program in the state of Tennessee, pulling awards from nearly all of the major categories at this year's Tennessee High School Press Association (THSPA) conference: 

  • First Place - Best Video / Documentary - "Homefullness" Documentary
  • First Place - Best Music Video - God Bless Us, Everyone
  • First Place - Best Sports Package - Army/Navy Football Feature Story
  • First Place - Best Infographic - "Homefullness" Documentary Poster

  • Second Place - Best Sports Show - Predators 365 Cancer Foundation Feature Story
  • Second Place - Best News Package - "Out of Sight" Short Film
  • Second Place - Best Infographic - "100 Hour Film Contest" Poster
  • Second Place - Best Audio for Video Project - Oh Holy Night
  • Third Place - Best Video / Documentary - "100 Hour Film Contest" Short Film
  • Third Place - Best News Package "Half the Park Happens After Dark" Feature Story
