CPA Athletics is excited to announce Rachel White as the new head coach of the CPA Girls Varsity Soccer program. Rachel takes over after 22 years as an assistant coach here at CPA. “We are so excited that God has called Rachel to step into the head coaching role for our girls soccer program. Through her years at CPA, our community has been so blessed by her humble spirit and faithful commitment to our school’s mission. We are so blessed to have a woman of her caliber and expertise to lead our girls for the years to come,” says Athletic Director Ingle Martin.

Growing up in Atlanta, she participated in soccer and basketball at Pace Academy. From Pace, she was recruited to Rhodes College in Memphis to play both soccer and basketball. As a member of the soccer team, she was All-Region 3 times, All-Conference 4 times, and the 1996 player of the year in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.

Rachel and her husband, Aaron, have been married for 25 years. They have 3 children, Katelyn, Jake, and Bredens, who is a current CPA 7th grader. Rachel says, “I am passionate about partnering with ministries both locally and abroad and love going with my family or taking groups to Honduras to serve. As a volunteer soccer club coach in high school and college, I developed a passion for coaching.  I started coaching CPA Girls Soccer in 2002 and have been an assistant coach under three different CPA Girls Soccer head coaches over the last 22 years. I love fostering and encouraging the competitive spirit that God has given girls. I am committed to using soccer as a platform to disciple girls, helping them grow in their relationship with Christ and equipping them to love and serve their communities.”

Along with Coach White being hired, we are happy to announce that David Ingram will be elevated to Associate Head Coach. David played collegiately at Tennessee Wesleyan University. Coach Ingram has coached the last 5 years at CPA and has been full-time at the Academy the last 2 years, working in the Upper School.
