CPA boys golf announces new Head Coach Jim Williams

CPA Athletics is pleased to announce Jim Williams will be the new Head Coach for boys golf at the Academy. Williams is a long-time member of the community with sons JJ (class of 2021) and Luke (class of 2024) students at CPA. He is joined by coaches Craig Bradshaw and Meg Terry (Head Coach for girls golf) as they continue to grow the golf program, seeking excellence in team and individual development.

“I am thrilled to be able to coach, mentor, lead, and encourage the JV and Varsity boys golf teams at CPA. I am looking forward to working with Coach Craig Bradshaw and partnering alongside Coach Meg Terry with the girls program as well. I look forward to cultivating a competitive golf program while nurturing each player as he grows in relationship with the Lord,” says Williams.

Williams is a lifelong golf professional and performance coach. In addition to boosting golf skills and shaping strong mental strategies for players, Williams will be adding year-round clinics and coaching for aspiring middle and upper school golfers (boys and girls).

“We want these clinics to build skill levels and prepare younger players to compete and succeed at the varsity level, but also to cultivate a positive mindset and solid practice habits. And most important for me is developing a sense of community, family, and friendship among the kids. Building a life-giving and encouraging culture is vital in any team sport, and golf is no exception,” says Williams.
