CPA Athletics is excited to announce Tyler Holloway as the new head coach of the CPA Boys Varsity Basketball program. Tyler joins CPA Basketball after 15 years with Belmont Basketball, the past six of which he spent as assistant coach to head coach Casey Alexander.
Tyler holds a master’s degree in Sports Administration from Belmont University and has worked for the Bruins since 2009. From his early experience as director of basketball operations to his recent coaching tenure, Tyler managed player development, offensive play calling, scouting reports, recruiting, video analysis, and more. During Tyler’s time with the Bruins, Belmont has won 342 games – nearly 25 games per season – 15 conference championships (10 regular season, five tournament), earned six NCAA Tournament bids (2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2019, 2020), garnered national Top 25 poll votes 12 out of 14 seasons, recorded 13 consecutive Top 100 rankings, and posted the nation's longest active home court and road win streaks.
Tyler’s individual skill development of Belmont backcourt players has led to professional careers for the likes of NBA Champion Ian Clark, New York Knicks guard Dylan Windler, Indiana Pacers guard Ben Sheppard and fellow professionals Kerron Johnson, J.J. Mann, Craig Bradshaw, Austin Luke, Kevin McClain, Grayson Murphy.
Tyler’s own collegiate basketball career boasts a four-year letterwinner at Murray State ('09), where he scored 1,083 career points and made 210 career 3-point field goals. Tyler originally hails from Decatur, Alabama.

He comes to us after being a part of one of the best college basketball programs in the country and we look forward to him sharing his knowledge and expertise with our players.
