From the Director…
Thank you! As we reflect on 2011 and look forward to all that God will bring in the new year, please know how grateful we are for your incredible generosity. The Lord continues to bless the Academy in countless ways, including through your financial contributions.
As a nonprofit institution, CPA depends on charitable giving to sustain and grow the excellent educational experience that the Academy provides. As CPA parents, your gifts to the Academy are greatly needed and truly make a difference. However, we know that many of you are making financial sacrifices to send your children to the Academy; in addition, you are involved and giving in other places, and we appreciate your faithfulness to follow the biblical command in this area. In light of that, we ask that you would seek discernment in how the Lord would lead you as an involved member of our community as well. This includes giving of your time, resources and prayers. His Kingdom work is evident daily on this campus, and He calls all of us to be active participants.
As Director of Development and Alumni Relations, it is very important to me to get to know as many Academy families as possible. If you are interested in meeting to discuss the Academy’s giving priorities or how you can be involved, please call me at (615) 301-3576 or email me at . To God be all glory as we join in His Kingdom purposes!
Soli Deo Gloria,

Believe Capital Campaign
What wonderful gifts the new building and renovations to our existing campus have been this year! Each one of us has enjoyed the benefits of these improvements. However, the work is not complete. There is still a tremendous need for your support as we seek to finish the Believe Capital Campaign strong. In summary:
(as of 2/22/12)
Campaign Goal: $13,000,000
Cash and Pledges Received: $9,583,210
Balance: $3,416,790
If you have not yet given to the Academy, I would encourage you to make a gift to the Believe Capital Campaign. Please consider making a three-year pledge or a one-time gift. For more information, or to make a gift online, please click here.
CPA Annual Fund
The CPA Annual Fund gives life to the daily happenings at the Academy, supporting opportunities and improvements that are not included in the tuition-funded operating budget. This year, we are asking everyone in our school community to participate by making a contribution to the annual fund. Here is a picture of our current progress:

As you can see, 23% of our families have made a CPA Annual Fund gift as part of our 100% Participation Campaign. Thank you to those of you who have given. What an amazing step it would be to have 100% participation from all families enrolled at the Academy! This participation would speak volumes about the unity of our beliefs and values here at CPA. Remember, participation is key; that means you can make a gift of any size. Please know that Every Gift Makes a Difference.
How Are Annual Fund Dollars Allocated?
Your CPA Annual Fund gift makes a difference by supporting financial aid, technology in the classroom, and professional development. Each year, the Academy receives more requests for financial aid than can be fulfilled. A current need exists for more computers with up-to-date software that will challenge students to grow in their technological proficiency. Our faculty and staff are required to stay current in their certifications and knowledge of their specialty fields, but the funds that allow them to pursue professional development opportunities are limited when the annual fund is not growing.
If you have not already done so, would you make a gift to the CPA Annual Fund? To give online, click here. To learn more about the annual fund, click here. In the next CPA Development Update email, we look forward to sharing some exciting developments regarding the CPA Annual Fund for the upcoming academic year!
CPA Endowment
“As a single mom of a son without a father in his life, it has been my greatest desire to have him at CPA where he is influenced by godly men and women. I will never forget the day I was at home crying out to the Lord about my finances, not knowing how in the world we could continue at CPA. The phone rang with the message that my son had been chosen to receive the James 1:27 endowed scholarship** and that he would be able to continue in this precious Christian school. We will be forever grateful to the family that made this scholarship possible.” -- A CPA Parent
**Note: The James 1:27 scholarship is part of our CPA Endowment, which is made possible through generous contributions.
A strong endowment not only provides a steady source of scholarship assistance for CPA families, it helps to provide financial continuity and longevity for the Academy. Endowment growth is a continuing need as we seek to strengthen the future of the Academy. If you would like to learn more about how you can make a lasting gift by creating an endowed scholarship or endowed fund, please contact our office.
Thank You
Again, thank you for your generosity and support. On behalf of the leadership and all of our faculty and staff at CPA, we deeply appreciate you and your family!
