CPA Golf Overview

Welcome to the home of CPA Girls and Boys Golf. The high school season begins with practice in early July and runs through the end of September. The district tournament begins in mid September. Let’s go, Lions!

A Word from Coach Steve Wilson

The CPA boys golf program is on a two-year run of sustained championship success: State Runner-up in 2009; a National Invitational Championship in Port St. Lucie, Florida during the summer of 2009; and the State Championship in 2008. This year's group of players will all return for a 2011 campaign to State. The girls program features two transfer students, and they are readying themselves for the 2011 season with diligent practice.

Boys Golf Core Score Schedule:

 7/11 18 holes at Ted Rhodes -- Core Score (Monday)

7/18 18 holes at Montgomery Bell -- Core Score (Monday)

7/28 18 holes at Montgomery Bell -- Core Score (Thursday)

8/4 18 holes at Ted Rhodes – Core Score (Thursday)

Note to Parents:

District is very early this year. This is known by the golf coaches as “the short season” since we are done by the end of September with State. That is why we are getting such an early start this year. Please plan your vacations accordingly.
