Sixth Grade Cheerleading Squad

The sixth grade squad is a volunteer squad for girls interested in learning about cheerleading. Tryouts are not required and CPA parent volunteers organize and coach the squad. Traditionally the girls cheer for football, but this year they also cheered for home basketball games.

Middle School Cheerleading Squad

The middle school cheerleaders cheer for varsity (eighth grade) football and basketball games. There are two squads -- football and basketball -- but girls are permitted to cheer both seasons if they are selected during tryouts.

High School Cheerleading Squad

The high school squads cheer for all varsity football and basketball games. The high school cheerleaders conduct a Elementary Cheerleader Camp biannually, during which girls in grades K-5 perform at a pep rally and during half-time.

Tryouts

Cheer tryouts are conducted in April and are judged by three outside judges. All girls perform a cheer, chant and dance and tumbling skills. Click HERE to download a PDF for the 2013-14 Cheerleading Practice and Tryouts Schedule
