CPA alumna Natalie Seale '10 has been named Girl of the Year for the Nashville Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). The LLS Man & Woman of the Year Campaign is a 10-week fundraising competition in which corporate leaders vie for the titles. They raise funds for blood-cancer research in honor of two blood-cancer survivors, the Boy & Girl of the Year.
Last Monday, Natalie and her family participated in a video shoot as a way of introducing Natalie at the fundraising events' kickoff in March. The interviews were emotional at times as Natalie's father, mother and brother told her story and what they've learned about life's challenges and about each other since her diagnosis.
Natalie is honored to represent other pediatric-cancer survivors, and we hope the campaign is successful in raising research dollars to find the cure.
