The learning community at Christ Presbyterian Academy combines a broad academic curriculum with a highly knowledgeable teaching staff to create an environment in which each student is equipped to learn and grow. In its academic offerings, CPA seeks to balance innovative instruction with traditional, time-honored practices.
Students engage fully in the learning process at CPA. By immersing in a strong core-academic program and a variety of enriching experiences at each grade level, they develop strong fundamental skills and work habits.
CPA teachers collaborate regularly to develop and implement a robust academic program. Learning is planned and documented using the online tool Atlas. With Atlas, teachers map their plans for the year, giving careful attention to concepts, activities and assessments that foster student progress.
Central to all teaching at CPA is the truth and relevance of the Scriptures. Biblical concepts are integrated into every academic area, and every teacher is a Christian committed to authentic representation of the gospel. The CPA graduate has learned to view life and learning through the lens of the gospel, to process information and experiences through the filter of the gospel, and to engage in all of life through the power of the gospel.
